In the dark

Today was our first big storm of the season and after flickering all day, our power went out at about 3:00. Well, this led to the one of the best nights we have had in a long time! With zero distractions, we lit candles, made a fire, played games, had tickle wars, ate ice cream...all completely together as a family! It was awesome! Allie of course, loved it too. We may have to do some non-mandatory power outage nights in the future. ;)
