Hanging out with the fam this week (Notice the background - wine and baby bottles)
Sitting outside yesterday enjoying the weather! And can you believe someone called her a boy in this outfit?!? Seriously.
She kept pulling this headband off my head so I let her wear it!
Um, yeah, lunch got a little messy the other day...
Playing with her duckie getting ready for a bath!
Zeke!
Oldies but goodies
Allie at her first baseball game in August 2007 to see the River Cats
From Christmas - this picture cracks me up!
Mike's face as Allie is lunging out of his arms and me holding my Irish coffee. Looks like Allie wants some! And I'm trying to figure out how many drinks I had because I look pretty out there! So funny!
Wow wow wow...she's almost a year old! Allison is becoming such her own person. She is hilarious and cute and smart and...okay, enough mommy bragging but we just love her so much! She has officially said her first word! Although it was hard to tell because she has been saying mama and dada a lot but we did not think she meant it until recently. She looked me straight in the face and said "mama"...OMG...talk about your heart just completely melting! She also says "baba" for bottle and "nana" for banana every now and then. Another exciting thing is that she is starting to sign - or her own versions of the signs anyways. She knows more and all done! She also pulls herself up onto her knees and sometimes onto her feet for a second. She crawls everywhere, following me around the house, and getting into everything - she is such a curious baby! She waves hi and bye-bye and points to anything and everything. She will point to quite a few items when named like banana, kitty, TV, mama, dada, Grandma and Grandpa, etc. She knows how to brush her hair and points to her hair, nose, and feet (piggies) when you ask her where they are. Allie loves hanging out with Grandma a couple times a week and going to our new playgroup. My favorite part of the day is when the three of us wake up in bed together - that is my slice of heaven.
Being a daredevil (yes I was RIGHT there!)
Getting ready for bathtime!
Being silly! She loves emptying the Tupperware drawer and sucking on empty sippy cups and bottles.
If you look in the background that is Allie's pan and wooden spoon. I keep it on the bottom shelf so she takes it out and starts banging. I may need a Tylenol afterwards but it lets me do the dishes!
Us at our playgroup today. We went to John's Incredible Pizza in Roseville! That place is awesome! It is described as Chuck E. Cheese on steroids. A huge buffet, themed rooms to eat in, a huge play area with rides and games, and there is even a baby/toddler area (behind us in the pic). So fun! Highly recommended to anyone who is or has kids between the ages of 1 and 20+.
And last but not least, a video - playing with magnets and chattering up a storm!
Even with all this rain, we still manage to have fun together!
At the park a week ago (I took them with my phone so they are a little blurry)
Allie's first trip to Chuck E. Cheese today with our playgroup! Allie had fun hanging out with the other babies! She wasn't too sure of the rides though...she wimpered and reached for me!
