Easter 2008 UPDATED

We had a great Easter Sunday! There is no greater physical evidence of the Lord's power than having a child of your own. It is amazing how miracles can happen right before your eyes. We hope everyone had a blessed day!

On Saturday we visited the Easter Bunny himself! Allie was fond of him from afar but not too much close up...in short, she screamed and lunged forward the minute I put her in his lap!

Then this morning the Easter Bunny dropped off some gifts for Allie!

Then we went to Mom and Dad's for some yummy Easter dinner!

St. Patrick's Day 2008!

Well, this was Allie's second St. Patrick's Day and it was a blast! We celebrated on Saturday night because the boys, Dad and James, were going to San Francisco on the actual holiday. Then, we went to Olive Garden with Candis and Mom on Monday night.

Our 5 year Anniversary in Tahoe!

On Saturday, Mike and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary! We celebrated on Sunday by going to Lake Tahoe for the night and Allie had her first overnighter with Grandma. And in case you're asking, I did good! I did bring her blanket with me and missed her the second my mom left with her (she picked her up), but I lasted the night! We had an awesome night away and the jacuzzi tub in our hotel room was very relaxing! We ate dinner at Hard Rock, played Blackjack until 2AM, slept til 10, and then had a nice breakfast before shopping and driving home a couple hundred dollars up. It was rejuveniating and refreshing to say the least!

1 year old!

Well, it's official. My baby has grown up to be a toddler! ~Snif snif~

Allison is 1 year old! She is 20 pounds, 5 ounces and 29 inches. The ped said she is growing great and is hitting all of her milestones.

My how the time has flown from thinking I would never get pregnant, to having a positive test, going to the doctor to check hormone levels just in case, seeing a little jumping bean at the 8 week ultrasound, thinking I was carrying a boy to finding out it was a girl, and then boom, just like that, the most precious, beautiful baby girl is thrown onto my stomach and I'm being told congratulations. Anyone who has children knows what I'm talking about. Before Allie came along, a year really didn't make that much of a difference in my life. But now, wow, to see how she has gone from a lump with no personality to a very active girl full of personality who won't sit down for a milisecond - a year just flew by. Okay, before I start crying, let's just look at some pics of this amazing, beautiful little girl!
