Fair Time!

We went to the State Fair today. Wow - it was hot, no, blazing (officially it was 98-degrees) but we got through it. That's the reason to go into the Counties building right? To go into some air conditioning! Allie's favorite was the animals - we saw goats and cows and she went into the petting zoo with more goats, pigs, and llamas. Then she rode a pony! She was too short to ride any of the rides this year so maybe next year! And apparently, she loved the lemonade! :)

Piggy tails!

Are you freaking kidding me!? I have been wanting to put Allie's hair in pigtails ever since she was born and now that I can I want to cry! She looks like such a toddler in this hairdo...my baby's growing up! *Sniff sniff* Well, at least she doesn't look like Billy Ray with her hair up this way, ha!

Our date day

On Sunday, my parents took Allie for most of the day while Mike and I had a much needed date day. I wanted to see a movie and Mike wanted to go bowling so we did both! We went bowling first...

Isn't funny how we totally switched scores?

Then we went and saw Batman! Awesome, awesome movie!

Blueberry Picking!

This morning, we went up to Apple Hill to Bolster's Ranch and went blueberry picking. Allie had fun and ate at least 20 blueberries during the hour we were out there. Mike was in charge of picking the ones we were actually going to take home; he got almost a pound of them! Then we had a picnic in the shade before heading back down the hill.
