We visited Mike's family in Indiana this year for Thanksgiving. Allison had fun on her first plane ride- even though she defeated the myth that babies sleep on planes. She slept only during the descent and landing so you know what that means! She had a blast meeting her Mamma, Pappa, Uncle Stewart, Aunt Tammy, and cousins Chelsea and Tyler. She especially loved dancing with Aunt Tammy when Mommy and Chelsea went Black Friday Shopping!
Hopefully we'll be seeing them all again soon!

Wow wow wow...Allison is 8 months! It is pratically ridiculous how fast she is growing! And boy is she turning into being her own person. She is very curious as she tries to grab, touch, and taste everything she can. She sure gets mad when you take something away from her, like her teething biscuits. She is a log roller and scooter so even though she can't get up on all fours yet to crawl she can sure get to where she wants to go! She is a chatterbug, saying dada, nana, mama, lala, and many other combinations - even though she does not mean what she is saying yet (I still love hearing that mama though!). She can now eat something besides pureed baby food...she loves her banana puffs and anything in a mesh feeder like apple slices, carrot sticks, and plain old bananas (even though that one is a little messy). If you put her on your lap she always wants to jump and go bouncy bouncy. I can tell she is and is going to be a handful but we are loving every minute of it!
Playing in the Leaves - Like everything new she was enthralled by them
Bathtime - No more baby bathtub for me!
Just hanging out and showing the love for her new glow worm
Allie and Grandpa - When you put something on her head she will reach up and try to get it off
A little comparison...can you believe it? 8 weeks and 8 months (Look where her knees are!)
Hanging out with my baby girl
PS. Allie is going on her first plane ride next Monday to visit her relatives in Indiana for Thanksgiving. We will definitely be posting pics when we get back!
PPS. Allie now has two teeth! Her two front bottom teeth have broken through and are growing fast!
