She's on the move!

Allison is finally crawling - well sort of. She is army crawling as of today! Yah!!! (Can you tell I am so proud of her??) All it took was a cat soccer ball toy but hey, you do what you gotta do. Thanks for the crawling dust!





And since this was such an exciting milestone I went and added a milestone list in the sidebar. That way I can keep track of everything and you can see what she has been doing.

Wow! Allie's first Christmas! It is so exciting! We opened gifts from family and friends on Christmas Eve and then Santa came this morning. Allie had such a blast! We took videos but they are a little long and thus huge so I am slowly getting around to compressing and uploading them. We also have pictures I will post in the next couple of days. Just wanted to post and wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Here's part of the video of Allie opening her presents on Christmas Eve!

Allison wants to crawl so bad! She can get up on her knees now but it made her even more frustrated. It is even causing her to wake up in the middle of the night...she will be in her crib on her knees just crying! Please send some crawling dust our way!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We LOVE Christmas at our house so Allison's first Christmas is sooooo exciting! The tree, the presents, meeting Santa...the joy of it all...well maybe not the Santa part this year at least!

9 Months Old!

Allison Rose is officially 9 months old!

Can you believe it - because I just can't. Wasn't I just pregnant? Now there is already talk about when the next one is coming. I am really learning how important it is to value your time and spend every minute living the way you want to because it goes by way too fast!

Allie is growing up to be such a big girl! She is very good at waving bye-bye and knows who a lot of people are by name. She is still a chatterbug, saying a new "word" practically everyday. Her current favorites are bababa, blahblahblah, boo-boo, and vava. She still has her two bottom teeth and more are on the way. On November 25th, she got up on her knees and then on December 12th she went from laying to sitting for the first time! Crawling is not too far away! She is still a log roller and scootcher and goes a lot quicker than you would assume. She is doing very well with her sippy cup and eats wagon wheels, puffs, and little pieces of fruit. She does very well with the pincher grasp too! Wow - such a big girl!

This Sunday was Dad's birthday! The family got together at Patty and Tom's house for steak, lobster, and apple pie...now that's a birthday! Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

We visited Mike's family in Indiana this year for Thanksgiving. Allison had fun on her first plane ride- even though she defeated the myth that babies sleep on planes. She slept only during the descent and landing so you know what that means! She had a blast meeting her Mamma, Pappa, Uncle Stewart, Aunt Tammy, and cousins Chelsea and Tyler. She especially loved dancing with Aunt Tammy when Mommy and Chelsea went Black Friday Shopping!

Hopefully we'll be seeing them all again soon!
