Some new pics and big news!
Two big milestones!!
Allie's sleeping in her crib at night! Yeah!! (Those who have been through this know what I mean) On Father's Day night we decided to give it a go and did it. I think Mike & I were more nervous than Allie. It has thrown off her sleep schedule though. She went from sleeping 8-9PM to 6AM straight to 8-11, 11:30-4:30, 5-8. And her naps have turned into 45 minutes max. What's funny is that she is trying to roll from her back to tummy but she can't quite do it so she spins in circles all night in her crib. I think I should get some mesh bumpers just in case she pushes off too hard and bumps into the side of the crib. And on June 20th Allie rolled from her tummy to back! Yeah!! The little things that excite you as a new parent...
She's just too adorable!

Hilarious, Happy Baby
In honor of Father's Day, Allie was in "I love Daddy" mode tonight. She was cracking up, and just kept laughing. Everytime I watch it I laugh more. Her face when Zeke came up to her cracks me up! So enjoy!

3 months old today!!
Can you believe it? I think she is about 13 pounds now. Compare this pic with the other comparison I did at 2 months. It's amazing!

She is sure showing her personality, which is definetly more like her Daddy's. When she loves she loves but if she is not in the mood, forget about it! Her favorite toy is her link chain. She will grab it and bring it to her mouth. She is now napping in her crib too, which is a huge hurdle. We are still working on the nighttime though! Her new favorite toy is her bouncy seat, she loves sitting outside with us on the patio and watching Mommy water all of the flowers and tomatoes.
Boy how life has changed since that little day in March. That saying that says once you have a baby you can't imagine yourself as not being a parent is so true! I can't imagine ever going back to how it was before Allie...she fulfills so much and brings inmeasurable amounts of joy into our lives. We are one little happy family now! We love our princess!

My, how they change your world
HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS REDEFINED
Happiness is...
Waking up in the morning, rolling over, and looking at my daughter in the bassinet beside me only to be greeted with a gummy grin, which is her way of saying “Good Morning Mommy”

Watching my husband as he learns to make a fool out of himself in order to entertain our daughter
Spending quiet time with my husband on the couch watching DVR’d episodes of our favorite shows, accompanied with the occasional sounds from the baby monitor, after Allison has been fed, rocked, and put to bed
Taking a good long shower and even shaving my legs without having to rush since I know Allison is being taken care of by my husband
Watching my two loves, my daughter and husband, smile back and forth at each other as if no one is watching
Hearing my husband talk in baby talk, which he swore never to do
Watching Allison drift off into sleep as she loosens her sucking power from the bottle and slowly feels heavier and heavier in my arms
Seeing Allison waking up from her long morning nap fully refreshed, happy, and stretching like a cat
Success is...
Being able to switch over the laundry before the mildew smell sets in in the washer, which means I would have to rerun it
Being able to load, run, and unload the dishwasher before my husband asks me if the dishwasher is clean or dirty, which means a particular item is missing from the cupboards
Getting in and out of Safeway (and/or Walmart or Target) with everything on my list bought and in my cart
Being able to bring in all of the groceries from the car once we get home, not just the cold items that I asked the bagger at Safeway to bag separately
