Do the chicken dance!
That is Allie's favorite thing to do lately...But really, we went to the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival today! It was a lot of fun...had an arts and craft fair (my favorite thing) and a huge kids area (Allie's thing)! They had bands playing the whole time and a lot of shady areas to hang out.

She loves lemonade!
Sleepy girl...but she hung in there and had fun!
Pretty sun
Watching the puppet show...she got the best seat in the house!
Eating lunch with her handmade puppet
Walking back to the car...everyone was worn out. Check out Claire's foot....too cute!
Techie
Um...yeah. She knows how to use the laptop mouse pad and everything. She even has favorite websites she visits. Hopefully she won't be asking for her own laptop before she even starts kindergarten!

Monster sisters
So...Allie's *favorite* movie lately has been Monsters, Inc. Well, a couple months ago I picked up these super cute monster jammies at Carter's that say BFF's on the front for Allie and Claire. When she started getting addicted to Monsters, Inc. I decided to bring them out of the winter clothes box a little early. She loves them! And Allie and Claire in matching jammies is absolutely adorable!

The Boos
So...on behalf of their Uncle James, Allie has earned the nickname "Boos" and Claire is the "Bear". So here is my Boos! I was so proud of her this weekend...Allie finally peddled her bike. Yay! I have a video but she is not feeling well and is clearly not excited about anything so I will take another for ya'll and post soon! And she has not worn a diaper during the day in over a month! Whoo-hoo! When did she grow up so fast?

Annual Lake Tahoe trip 2009
We continued the tradition of spending Labor Day weekend in Lake Tahoe this weekend! It was awesome! Allie loved being around all her favorite people...i.e. Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle James, Uncle Patrick, and Lindsey! And, oh yeah, Mommy, Daddy, and Claire. :) It was great to hang out in the mountain air during the day and then spend some time playing games in the cabin or outside in the hot tub at night after the girls went to bed. It was truly a real vacation!
We spent time hanging around the cabin in Tahoe Keys and its beautiful backyard view of the marina. Allie loved throwing the beans (i.e. berries) over the fence to the ducks.

Hee hee :)

Toesies!

We went to the park in the area where we were staying, Tahoe Keys.

We walked around the Stateline area and had some ice cream and went souvenier shopping. Allie even got a moose...she had to have one after seeing Lindsey's moose bag!

They love their new double stroller!

We even took a hike...a very difficult hike at that, to Skunk Harbor. 1.5 miles downhill, then 1.5 miles uphill...with the girls in the stroller and a very heavy diaper bag...Mike was awesome! The views were so worth it and then we found a great secluded beach at the end that we weren't expecting!
This was on our way downhill...

And our reward!

Claire put her feet in the sand for the first time!
