...today. I don't believe it. Really, I don't. How has she already grown out of her 3 month clothes? The last four months have been wonderful, crazy, awesome, loving, educational, and at times trying. Allie and I especially have gone through such a learning process, as it is no longer just us anymore. I had to fit Claire into our schedule and Allie had to be okay with that. But one thing I'm sure of is that neither of us would have it any other way. Allison loves her sister to death! Today as we were leaving the mall Allie completely lost it because she scared Claire and made her cry, by accident of course. Allie is crazy, always has been...she's loud, animated, and vocal, and sometimes Claire is not quite expecting it. I have to give Claire credit though, she tolerates a lot from Allie, more than I would expect her to - probably from hearing her in the womb.
So, Claire, you are amazing. Your smile and laughter is infectious. You start to whine and I just start laughing, and you start laughing too. Your ears go up when you smile. You tried cereal a couple days ago and loved it, with no hesitations at all about some foreign substance going in your mouth. When you're nursing, you will look up at me and smile, causing the latch to break, but then you just get right back on. You love your monkey and giraffe blankie, duckie, dragonfly, and links. You lift your head way up when you go on your tummy and are really close to rolling over - sometimes you do it by accident from your tummy to your back. You went into a big girl carseat a few days ago and love being carried around in our wrap when we shop. You love playing with your feet and sitting in your swing or bouncy seat. You favorite place to hang out when I'm making dinner is your Jumparoo. You are so loved by everyone around you. Allie is your sister, best friend, protector, and playmate. I can't wait to see you both grow up and be best friends but your own person at the same time. Love you all the way around the world!

This is too sweet, brought tears to my eyes. My husband is an only child and has always said, "The best gift you can give your child is a sibling."
