On July 4th, we went to two BBQs and a birthday party before settling in early at home because we were out so late on the 3rd. I even did some late night grocery shopping...by myself...in a very empty Safeway. Is it sad that I consider that "me" time?

We started July 4th a little early this year. Our local park has a festival every year...and Allie took a late nap on the 3rd so we decided to head over there a day early. We walked over and walked around the festival then hung out on the grass until the fireworks. Allie was scared this year! She sat on Mike's lap and closed her eyes...poor thing. Oh well...she said she had fun anyway. And there is always next year!
