For those of you not around Allie that often, let me tell you she is a crazy, wild woman. She is constantly moving, jumping, dancing, singing, talking, begging to get up on counters, asking me to open things, rearranging furniture, getting too close to the fireplace, going boom on purpose just because it's fun, and saying no whenever you ask her a question. It's no wonder she stopped napping at 18ish months. And it surprised me that it took 22 months for this to happen...
It happened at the park - when she was hugging her friend Amelia of all things! Oh well - it's just a bruise, not an open cut. And we don't have any pictures or events coming up soon, so we'll just let it heal.
And as much as she is a wild woman, she is a major lounger. Turn on Dora, Diego, Calliou, Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Sesame Street, etc., and she will just sit in her chair and relax - only during the parts that don't ask her to dance or clap wildly, of course.
